SpinnerChief is the best spinner out there and this small addition will increase the number of variations available.
Currently there isn't an option in SpinnerChief to automatically choose x number random replacements.
This can only be done manually from the synonym window at the bottom of the screen.
SpinnerChief always chooses the same order in which the synonyms were imported to the thesaurus.dat file
For example let's say these are your custom synonym replacements for "blue." There are 35+ synonyms.
{blue|smoky blue|azure blue|liquid blue|icy blue|winter blue|faded dust blue|wild sapphire|Nordic blue|Genetian blue|blue flame|mellow blue|faded blue|pale blue|bright blue|sapphire blue|grey-blue|blue-green|cool blue|deep blue|dark blue|steel blue|blue-black|onyx|azure|glowing blue|blackening-blue|subtle aqua|ocean blue|sea-blue|peacock-blue|brilliant blue|china blue|almost bright blue|soft blue|somehow too blue|a tender blue}
Target sentence:
The sky was blue today.
1. Tools - Identify Synonyms - Choose Both
2. Spin - Spin to Spintax - Words ( e.g 10 - based on randomly choosing 10 of 35+ available word/phrase replacements above)
Check "Don't use original word when spin"
The results will always be the first 10 replacements from the above list:
{smoky blue|azure blue|liquid blue|icy blue|winter blue|faded dust blue|wild sapphire|Nordic blue|Genetian blue|blue flame}
Import the 35+ word list above and test if needed.
There needs to be an option where SC5 imports x number of RANDOM synonyms in any order that is different each time
For example:
{brilliant blue|Nordic blue|smoky blue|peacock-blue|blue-black|azure|onyx etc.}
