I can not get the search module to work to "Follow Task" people. My "Follow Back Task" works fine
I have the following settings.
Basic Settings - Follow - Desktop
I have tried Mobile & API, no difference
Search Module
Importing a list of People / Import from a list
Search amount from one account 2 - 6 people
Search method - Mobile Search / People / Search people's followers
Search amount 30 - 40
Timeout (Minutes) 6
Record old search results automatically - Checked
Clear-up old search results automatically when there is no match results - Checked
I have 4 tasks running and all keep on cycling back to the beginning of the task when they reach a "Time Out" and in my opinion, this will eventually get noticed by Twitter as it is not similar to Human Behaviour. The tasks are:
Follow
Follow Back
UnFollow
Direct Message
They Follow / Follow Back Tasks follow this sequence:
Search
GetDeails
Filter
Follow
The problem is when the task gets to the "Follow Module" and reaches a "Time Out" instead of the task just pausing, Tweet Attacks cycles through the entire sequence again & again & again & again until the "Time Out" ends and then the task starts to Follow / Follow Back people again until the next "Time Out" and then Tweet Attacks cycles through the entire sequence again & again & again & again...
The problem with this in my opinion is:
There are 2 tasks always searching Twitter from the same IP address
There are 6 threads always "Scraping Twitter User Details" in the "GetDetails Module" from the same IP address
Surely the task needs to Pause on a "Time Out" and not cycle back to Search?
The same is true of the "Direct Message" and the "UnFollow tasks, Tweet Attacks keeps on cycling back to the beginning of the task, back to the"Search Module" again & again & again
If you run all 4 tasks at the same time, you will have:
4 tasks always searching from the same IP address
2 Tasks always scraping from the same IP address
This can not be good
I am having a problem with posting via any of the desktop user agents. I did not change anything, this just started happening. I can login in with mobile user agents, but not desktop. I know this because my photo tweets are no longer posting. I then tried to check my account stats with the desktop selection, but it said failed login. Then tried the mobile version and it worked fine.
We need an option to bind images to specific tweets. People no longer enguage with just text and I can not just have any old image with any tweet. Tweetadder had this option and it got really good enguagement.
Every time I use TAP, my account gets limited.
I use it for the following tasks with no problem:
Posting tweets
Sending DM's
Retweets
Thank-you messages
RSS Tweets
I do not use unfollow as it does not work.
As soon as I use Follow / Follow Back, twitter limits my account, so I stop using it for fear of being banned.
I am trying to update my TAP. I started White Hat Box and downloaded the update, but when I try and run the update in White Hat Box, I get a message saying White Hat Box has stopped working
Since I have been using TAP, I have been almost completly restricted
by twitter. I can no longer follow anyone. I suspect it is because TAP
does not recognise when twitter limits following and tries to carry on
folowing, this is easy for twitter to see you are using automated
software.
Has this issue been fixed yet?
